My grandmother made home made spaetzle every Thanksgiving, and other times by making a flour/egg/water dough on an old water cutting board, and scraping off pieces 100+/minute into boiling water. It was amazing to watch. Simple, quick, and it kept her arms toned!Fast forward to today, my mom makes spaetzle using one of these Kull Spaetzle presses. It is even simpler now. Though you can get other brands for less, which is why I only give 4 stars, it's simple easy to clean, and the enameled versions can be dishwasher cleaned though mom just soaks it in the sink and scrubs it off. |
